Here we are on my birthday date. We ate Sushi and went to a movie. Life is good.

This is my nephew Mikey (or Bubba.) We decided what he needed was some fairy wings. I hope his dad doesn't see this! Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks.

We attempted to get a picture of all the grandkids last weekend. It isn't that easy with a 1, 2 and 3 year old. As soon as we got Gabby into the picture Katie would run out or Mikey would crawl out. We got a few OK photos but we can never seem to get everyone looking at the same time. We will keep trying. You will notice the lovely face Madison is making in this one.

I thought I would post some pictures of my favorite people. My family. Some of these pics are a little old but they are some of my favorites. This was a Christmas card picture from a couple of years ago. What a good dog we have. She will put up with anything. Gosh, I love these kids. They are growing up way too fast. I will just have to hug them and kiss them while they still let me.

Here is my Matty. A rare occassion that I actually got a picture of him smiling. Love ya.

This really was a trip of a life-time. We spent most of our days snorkeling or reading books in this hammick.

Matt doesn't like to get his picture taken so I don't have many shots of him. This is Matt trying to break open a coconut on Bora Bora. It isn't as easy as you might think

Goggles look so cute on kids. They never seem to stay on when they are actually in the water but they sure are cute in photos.

This was taken at a rest stop on our move from Arizona to North Carolina. I forgot how little Sydney was when we moved.

Kaylee and the red hat. She wore this everyday all summer. It actually went with her 4th of July ensemble in this photo but she would have worn it regardless.

We rented a lake house in 2006 with the Whitehead cousins and Sydney tried out fishing. I don't think she had much luck but she sure was cute.

Nanna and Papa with Gabby at her blessing. I am not sure how many more children will be able to wear this blessing dress. It was originally my grandfathers who wore it as a Christianing dress around 1904. We have handed it down through most his grandkids and greatgrandkids. Mom has done a great job keeping track of who has worn it keeping it safe. Thanks Nanna.

Gabby what a character. She really knows who to work that camera.

Polly's Birthday

We went to Nanna's house for my 34th birthday. All of the grandkids and my sisters came. The adults have been outnumbered. We get to sit at the little kitchen table because the kids take up the whole dining room. We also need to move up to a bigger cake. I think we were actually short a piece. Thanks Jeff for foregoing your slice. You saved the day. It could have gotten pretty ugly if Beth went without cake. Thank you mom for making my day special!

Gabby had fun riding on her horsey named Kamryn. I guess Kami enjoyed being the horsey as well.

We tried all afternoon to get a good picture of all of the
grandkids. It is pretty hard when you have so many kids
and they babies keep leaving. At least they are all in this one.

Obviously I am new to this blogging thing. I put the pictures of my birthday lunch below in order of how the activities happened but I didn't realize that they would show up with the last one first. So. . . read them from the top up if you are interested in the order things happened.

We then hit the DSW. I like to call it shoe heaven.
I could try on shoes for days.
Thanks for a great day.
I missed you Beth. I'm willing to do it all again anytime you
want to drive over.

Jen and I got a makeover at the Bobbi Brown store.
Wouldn't it be cool to have a live-in makeup artist.
I guess that is why Angelina looks so good.
